It's worth noting that immediately prior to this glitch, I was playing around in sims4studio doing some batch fixes, so I thought for SURE that's what the problem was. So I took ALL my mods out, 100% of my mods and cc were removed from the game, and the problem was STILL there! I don't know what to do at this point. So out of curiosity I checked with the nude bottom for male sims, and the same problem is there, with underwear painted right onto the skinĪfter all this, even with NO skin cc, the problem persisted, I still couldn't change the skin at all. I can't even put basegame skins on these sims! Whatever's happening is replacing everything down to the vanilla files, even when mods are completely disabled.Īnd then I discovered an even weirder layer to this glitch- when I use mods that make a female sim nude, this skin glitch comes hand in hand with a pair of painted on bra and underpants that go UNDER the actual vanilla bra/panty. I thought certainly this was a cc problem, but it's overriding even basegame skins, pictured here. I thought it was weird enough, but when I went in to check on the sim in cas, I discovered an even weirder problem.
But in the sim preview thing, his skin is still there! So what the heck?
Pictured here, when I'm outside the family in map mode and I click on the family in question, the cc skins are still there!īut when I go in to actually play, just like that it's gone. Of course I assumed this was a default replacer skin cc glitch, so I prepared myself for the harrowing process of figuring out which skin is the problem by taking out ALL my skin mods- but when I went back into the game with every skin mod taken out, the problem was still there. When I went into my game the other day I noticed that my black sim had white skin all of sudden. I made an account just so I could find some help for this strange problem I've been having! My game seems to be broken in a really bizarrely specific way.
